In 2023, following a request from Kverneland Group Les Landes-Genusson (https://ien.kvernelandgroup.com/), Kauchuk provided its new disc harrow damper developments for testing. Building on a decade of experience in producing rubber dampers for leading companies in this field, Kauchuk’s experts developed rubber compounds with special characteristics and produced a trial batch of dampers using two types of these rubber compounds.
Both types of dampers underwent real field trials under various conditions throughout 2023. The first type was tested from March to November, and the second from June to November.
In January 2024, interim results of the testing were compiled:
- Both types showed no operational issues and demonstrated good productivity.
- Testing will continue in 2024 with: a) The same prototypes of machines using the same rubber dampers. b) Two new prototypes with new rubber dampers.
The goal is to evaluate both materials by the end of 2024.
